Electric

The adjective electric refers to anything related to electricity or powered by electricity.

• Electric cars, which run on rechargeable batteries, are becoming increasingly popular as people seek more environmentally friendly transportation options.
• She decided to buy an electric guitar because she loved the versatility and range of sounds it could produce compared to an acoustic one.
• He installed an electric fence around the house to keep the livestock safe from predators and prevent them from wandering off.
• The electric heater in the living room quickly warmed up the space, making it cosy and comfortable on a cold winter evening.

Electronic

The adjective electronic refers to devices or systems that use electronic components, such as transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, to perform their functions.

• The electronic device, which was equipped with the latest technology, allowed users to control their home appliances remotely via a smartphone app.
• She bought an electronic keyboard because it offered a wide range of features a traditional piano couldn’t provide.
• The electronic components inside the computer are responsible for processing data and executing commands at incredible speeds.
• He enjoys reading electronic books on his tablet because they are convenient to carry and often come with interactive features.

Electronical

This term is not commonly used in modern English. It is an archaic or less common variant of “electronic.” In most contexts, “electronic” is the preferred term.
