Rob and his wife started a family-friendly hotel in the mountains.

Learner-friendly

Meaning: suitable and easy to use for learners.

The workbook is designed to be learner-friendly.

Market-friendly

Meaning: suitable for businesses.

We aim to develop a more market-friendly business environment.

Ozone-friendly

Meaning: a product which does not produce gases harmful to the ozone layer.

This ozone-friendly aerosol spray is kind to the environment.

Reader-friendly

Meaning: a written material which is easy to understand.

These instructions are reader-friendly, and they are easy to understand and apply.

User-friendly

Meaning: easy to understand and use.

Computer programmes are becoming more and more user-friendly.
